It has been decided to postpone the Olympic 2020 to be held for one year in Tokyo, Japan. The Prime Minister of Japan, who has consistently stressed on its organizing, has also agreed to it. The Olympics were to be held in Tokyo between July 24 and August 9.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) and Japanese Prime Minister Ashjo Abe on Tuesday took a major decision to postpone the Tokyo Olympic Games to the 2021 Games after discussing the phone. The World Games were to be held in Tokyo in July and August.

The PM of Japan briefed the media about the discussion with Thomas Baek, the head of the International Olympic Committee. Giving information about the postponement of the Olympics, he said, “I proposed to postpone it for a year and the Chairman Beach agreed with it about 10%.”
